We can give our 5G technology to other countries also: Sitharaman

Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Finance Minister, stated that India has launched 5G and we can also share our 5G technology with other countries . This is entirely indigenous technology. Some of it had to have come from South Korea. We can share this technology with any country that wants to use it.

Nirmala Sitharaman is in the United States for a six-day visit. On Thursday, Sitharaman spoke with students at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). FM stated that our 5G technology is not imported. This is a product from India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated it in a few cities across the country. By 2024, all Indian cities will have 5G technology. In such circumstances, we can be proud of India’s accomplishments.

FM met with ministers from Egypt, Bhutan, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, and South Korea during this time. Meanwhile, Washington has held bilateral meetings with global finance ministers and heads of top international organizations on a variety of critical economic issues.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is in the United States on an official visit to attend the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank, and G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors.
