According to a survey by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, is the nation’s poorest CM.
After reviewing the affidavits submitted by the leaders to the Election Commission, ADR creates its report. Mamta Banerjee’s declared assets are only worth Rs 15 lakh, it has been learned.
The wealth of the 30 chief ministers of the nation’s states have been evaluated, and Mamta’s wealth is the lowest. The remaining 29 chief ministers are all Cravathians. Even Pinarayi Vijayan, the chief minister of Kerala, has assets worth Rs. 1 crore.
In addition, Jaganmohan Reddy, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, is the richest CM.
His property is valued at 510 crores of rupees. Pema Khandu, the chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh, is ranked number two. This BJP leader has assets of Rs 163 crore.
Naveen Patnaik, the chief minister of Odisha, is listed at position three and has assets of Rs. 63 crores.
All of the chief ministers of the nation collectively have assets of Rs 33 crore 95 lahks.
