Budget Battles: Government and Opposition Clash over J&K’s Finances

Delhi: Amidst the ongoing tensions between the government and the opposition, the discussion on the Union Budget will continue in both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha on Thursday.

This includes a debate and voting on Jammu and Kashmir’s Budget. The opposition MPs protested against the Budget in both houses, staging a walkout in the Rajya Sabha and raising slogans against the government.

Apart from the Budget discussion, several ministers are scheduled to lay papers on the table and make statements, including one on the status of implementation of recommendations from a Standing Committee report. In the Rajya Sabha, a statement will also be made regarding the implementation of recommendations from a Parliamentary Standing Committee report on Home Affairs.

Additionally, a motion will be moved to elect two members to the Rajghat Samadhi Committee. The ongoing debate on the Budget and other issues underscores the importance of healthy discussions and debates in shaping the future of our country.
