Post office enables their customers to make QR-based payments

Hyderabad: Post office encourages their customers to make UPI-based digital payments by scanning QR codes for Speed Post, Registered Post, Parcels, International Mail, and Electronic Money Orders.

The Telangana Postal Circle is rolling out APT 2.0 at its 32 Head Post Offices, 685 Sub Post Offices, and 4,986 Branch Post Offices across Telangana by the first week of August.

This initiative aims to modernise the services provided by post offices, making transactions more efficient and user-friendly.

The Telangana Postal Circle rolled out this new IT initiative on July 8 as a pilot in 4 Head Post Offices, 105 Sub Post Offices, and 453 Branch Post Offices across Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Nalgonda, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, and parts of Medchal-Malkajgiri districts. The pilot also included 17 mail offices and 23 administrative offices.
