Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Meteorological Centre has forecast light to moderate rainfall across several parts of Telangana over the next two days, with thunderstorms and lightning likely in multiple districts.
Officials said gusty winds with speeds of 30 to 40 kmph may accompany the weather activity during this period.
Districts including Jaya Shankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Warangal and Hanumakonda are expected to witness relatively heavier rainfall in the coming days. These areas may also experience stronger winds reaching up to 40 to 50 kmph along with thunderstorms.
In other parts of the state, scattered light to moderate showers are likely, with similar thunderstorm activity and gusty winds.
The weather department said maximum temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged over the next two days. A gradual drop of around 2 to 3 degrees Celsius is likely after that.
Authorities have advised residents to remain cautious during thunderstorms, particularly in open areas, and plan travel accordingly.
