All About SCO Summit 2022

All the heads of state are in Samarkand for the SCO Summit 2022, which joins the three economic superpowers of India, Russia, and China to the same table.

After two years, the SCO is convening its first in-person summit in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, and Xi Jinping, the president of China, will attend the meeting. Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister of Pakistan, is also present at the conference.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), which was established in June 2001, currently has eight full members, including its six founding nations: China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. In 2017, Pakistan and India became full members.
