AIMIM candidate stands leading in Aurangabad East with a margin of over 23,422 votes

Hyderabad: Hyderabad: In Maharashtra Assembly polls, All India Majlis-e- Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), is leading in Aurangabad East. Candidate Imtiaz Jaleel, ahead with a margin of over 23,422 votes after the 16th round of counting.

This year, AIMIM party had fielded 16 candidates in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly polls. In the 2024 elections, the party fielded candidates in Aurangabad Central, Aurangabad East, Bhiwandi West, Karanja, Nagpur North, Byculla, Versova (Mumbai), Murtizapur (Akola), Malegaon Central, Dhule, Solapur, Mumbra-Kalwa (Thane), Nanded South, Mankhurd Shivaji Nagar Kurla and Miraj (Sangli).
