Despite chargesheet, Kanhaiya Kumar to contest election from Begusarai

Patna: Communist party of India dispelled rumours that RJD isn’t supporting the previous president of JNU students union Kanhaiya Kumar from Begusarai. per CPI, the party is in touch with RJD chief Lalu Yadav. once meeting with Lalu in Ranchi jail this political scenario within the state and distribution of seats are mentioned.

According to sources, left front parties together with the RJD square measure busy giving final form to three seats that embody Kanhaiya Kumar of CPI from Begusarai and Ramdev Varma of CPIML from Ujiarpur.
It should be noted that the metropolis Police filed a chargesheet on weekday against former solon University Students’ Union (JNUSU) president Kanhaiya Kumar et al in an exceedingly misdemeanor case lodged in 2016.
According to sources, RJD was uncertain of fielding Kanhaiya Kumar from Begusarai seat as Mahagathbandhan candidate. RJD feels that once the contention, possibilities of winning the Begusarai seat may well be affected.
