Hyderabad: BRS MlA Harish Rao criticized Congress government for charging 50 per cent hike in RTC bus fares ahead of Bathukamma and Dasara festivals.
Harish Rao said the government was breaking the hearts of people at a time meant for celebration. He said the RTC was simply putting up special boards on regular buses and looting passengers.
He alleged that the hike was being enforced under the guise of “festival special buses”, even though the number of buses was not increased.
