Hyderabad: On Thursday afternoon, heavy rains lasted in several localities in the eastern and north-eastern parts of the city.
Areas including LB Nagar, Uppal, Habsiguda, Ramanthapur, Amberpet, Tarnaka, and Moula Ali, along with Secunderabad’s north-eastern localities such as Neredmet, Alwal, Bowenpally, Safilguda, Yapral, Thumukunta, Kapra, ECIL, Sainikpuri, witnessed a heavy downpour lasting nearly an hour.
Due to the heavy rains, Habsiguda–Tarnaka stretch too experienced long traffic jams amid the showers. Similar traffic congestion was reported on SD Road and RP Road in Secunderabad.
