Protests Reported in Hyderabad’s Old City Over Developments in Iran

Hyderabad, March 1: Protests were reported in parts of Hyderabad’s Old City following circulating reports regarding an alleged attack in Tehran targeting Iran’s Supreme Leader.

Groups of men and women gathered in certain localities, holding photographs of Iran’s Supreme Leader and expressing concern over developments in West Asia. The gatherings appeared organised and were monitored by local authorities.

Hyderabad Police deployed personnel in sensitive areas as a precautionary measure to maintain law and order. Officials stated that the situation remained under control and no untoward incidents were reported.

Authorities have advised the public to maintain calm and avoid spreading unverified information while developments continue internationally.
