IMD issues heatwave alert to multiple districts of Telangana

Hyderabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD)-Hyderabad issued a heatwave alert in multiple districts of Telangana on Tuesday.

IMD stated that the districts including Adilabad, Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad and Jagtial temperatures could increase to more than 44 degrees Celsius till April 26.

Meanwhile, maximum temperatures on Monday and Tuesday continued to over between 41 degrees Celsius and 44 degrees Celsius at multiple locations in the State.

Whereas in Hyderabad between Monday and Tuesday was 41.9 degrees Celsius, the temperatures in certain regions of Adilabad including Tamsi touched 44 degrees Celsius.
