INDIA Bloc Parties Unite to Fight Budget Discrimination: Protesting in Parliament

Delhi:  The INDIA bloc parties have come together to protest against the discrimination faced by the opposition-ruled states in the Union Budget.

This decision was taken at a meeting of floor leaders of the bloc parties held at the residence of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge. Leaders from various parties such as Rahul Gandhi, Sharad Pawar, and Sanjay Raut attended the meeting.

The Congress general secretaries K C Venugopal and Jairam Ramesh were also present. According to Venugopal, the budget presented by the government goes against the principles of federalism and fairness. In protest, Congress chief ministers have decided to boycott the NITI Aayog meeting scheduled for July 27. Tiwari alleged that the budget has ignored states where there are non-BJP governments.

The bloc parties have decided to raise their voice in Parliament and outside in protest against this discrimination. They believe that the budget is not just for one party but for the entire country and it is important for all voices to be heard in its preparation.
