Jammu:Kishtwar experiences complete blackout; sirens echo district-wide

On Thursday evening, a dozen locations in Jammu, including an airstrip, were targeted by artillery fire, drones, and missile attacks from Pakistan, following India’s strikes on terror hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Security agencies reported that eight missiles were launched toward the Jammu civil airport, Samba, RS Pura, Arnia, Akhnoor, and nearby areas. All missiles were intercepted by the S-400 air defense system, preventing any damage or casualties. Defense sources stated they were fully prepared for such attempts and successfully neutralized all threats from Pakistan through advanced technologies.

Additionally, reports indicated artillery shelling in Kupwara and Udhampur, prompting air raid sirens in affected regions like Akhnoor and Kishtwar, leading to a complete blackout in those areas.
