Mizoram elections: Bru refugees forged vote for ‘change’

Mizoram:Tripura-settled bru refugees who had fled violence of their native mizoram 21 years in the past, set foot in their native vicinity for the first time in two a long time to take part in mizoram’s nation assembly polls on wednesday.

Bru refugees voted at 15 polling booths at kahnmun in mamit district of mizoram, near the border. of the 11,987 registered bru citizens, 56.46% voted.
