Ronaldo’s brace leads Al-Nassr to 3-1 victory over Al-Hilal

In the Riyadh Derby of the Saudi Pro League 2024-25, Al-Nassr triumphed over rivals Al-Hilal with a 3-1 victory at Kingdom Arena. The match saw Cristiano Ronaldo shine with two goals, while Ali Alhassan contributed a stunning strike just before half-time (45+4 minutes), delivering a powerful shot into the top-left corner following a corner routine.

Although Al-Nassr faced an early setback when Ronaldo temporarily left the field due to a shoulder injury, he returned to make an impact. Early in the second half, Al-Nassr extended their lead in the 47th minute through a swift counter-attacking move led by Sadio Mane, who assisted Ronaldo for the second goal. Al-Hilal responded by scoring from a corner, with defender Ali Albulayhi’s header narrowing the gap.

However, in the closing moments, Ronaldo sealed the victory with a penalty kick, marking Al-Nassr’s first win in the Riyadh Derby in three years. This result leaves Al-Nassr third in the table with 54 points, while Al-Hilal’s title ambitions took a hit.
