Second phase of Gujarat elections: Campaigning will end at 5 pm

Ahmedabad : Campaigning for the second phase of polling in the Gujarat Assembly elections will end at 5 pm on Saturday. In the second phase, polling will be held on 93 seats in 14 districts of North and Central Gujarat on December 5. Concern is spread among all political parties due to relatively low turnout of 6 to 7 percent in the first phase. From getting the voters to turn up in the second phase, they have started trying all possible tricks, so that maximum votes can be voted in their favor.

Road shows and public meetings were organized by BJP and Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday. Three public meetings of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were organized. He held meetings in the morning at Dholka (Ahmedabad), Kheda and Anand. On behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann did a roadshow in Garbada, Dahod, Jhalod and Fatehpura on Saturday morning.

Three public meetings of Union Minister Parshottam Rupala were fixed. He held public meetings in the morning at Dhanera in Banaskantha district, Jetpur Pavi and Borsad in Chhota Udepur. On the other hand, Minister Smriti Irani did a road show in the morning at Modasa in Aravalli district and Siddhpur in Patan. Apart from this, Gujarati TV serial artist Manoj Joshi did a roadshow for BJP in Nikol, Ahmedabad. Former minister Parshottam Solanki held a meeting at Bhangarh village near Dholera.
