IPL 2025:LSG’s Digvesh Singh fined 25% match fees for breaching IPL Code of Conduct

On Tuesday, during the IPL 2025 match between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Punjab Kings at Ekana Cricket Stadium, LSG fast bowler Digvesh Singh violated the IPL Code of Conduct and was fined 25 percent of his match fee, along with receiving a demerit point.

Digvesh dismissed Punjab’s Priyansh Arya off Shardul Thakur’s bowling and then followed Arya to the dugout, pretending to write in an imaginary notebook, although Arya did not respond. Both players had previously been teammates in the Delhi Premier League.

Digvesh accepted his breach under Article 2.5 of a Level 1 offense, and the match referee’s decision is final. He currently has one demerit point and won’t be suspended unless he accumulates four points, which could lead to harsher penalties in the future.
