In IPL 2025, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has signed young batsman Ravi Chandran Smaran from Karnataka after Adam Zampa’s injury. The 21-year-old left-handed batsman was brought in for a base price of 3 million rupees.
Smaran has excelled in first-class cricket, amassing over 500 runs at an average of 64.50, including a double century against Punjab. He debuted in List-A cricket in 2024, scoring 433 runs at an average of 72.16 with two centuries.
SRH currently sits at the bottom of the points table and must win every match to qualify for the playoffs.
