TSDCA seized Rs 19.35 lakh stocks of drugs in September

Hyderabad: Telangana State Drug Control Administration (TSDCA) seized stocks of drugs worth Rs 19.35 lakh, in September month.

In the month of September TSDCA initiated
54 cases. Unlicensed medical shops that were involved in sale of steroids and cardiac stimulants (09), quacks and unlicensed stocking and sale of drugs (26), drug manufactured and sold as food products and nutraceuticals (14), unlicensed manufacturing (01), expired drugs (03) and banned drugs (01).

Overall, this year (between January and September), a total of 392 cases are initiated by the TSDCA for various kinds of offenses.
