Hyderabad: Two senior CPI (Maoist) surrendered before the Rachakonda Police on Thursday. The duo named as Kakarla Sunitha alias Badri, a senior State Committee Member, DK SZC, and Chennuri Harish alias Ramana, Area Committee Member Telangana State Committee, were involved in the movement for 40 years.
Kakarla Sunitha became a member of the CPI (ML) and between 1986 and 1990, she worked as central organiser of CPI (ML) PW.
While, Chennuri Harish alias Ramana was worked in Telangana Praja Front until 2020, when he joined the CPI (Maoist).
