Heavy rains: CM holds review with District Collectors, orders high alert

Hyderabad: In view of heavy rainfall forecasting in the city, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy conducted a video conference with District Collectors on Tuesday.

In the meeting , CM  instructed in-charge Ministers and officials to remain on high alert. Helicopters should be arranged to airlift stranded residents during sudden downpours.

CM also directed the HYDRAA officials to remain on 24-hour alert during the rains. A toll-free helpline must also be set up for the public to register complaints or seek emergency assistance.

He also urged that awareness campaigns be launched, advising people to leave their homes only if necessary.
