Hyderabad: BRS MLC K Kavitha plans to hold Maha Dharna near Indira Park on Wednesday from 10 am to 1 pm, protesting against the Congress government’s notices to BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao over the Kaleshwaram project.
Kavitha stated that, the protest would highlight how Chandrashekhar Rao transformed Telangana’s agricultural landscape by diverting Godavari river waters and turning barren lands fertile.
Thousands of Telangana Jagruthi members and supporters of Chandrashekhar Rao from across the State are expected to take part in the protest.
