Dalmia Bharat Achieves 49.5 MTPA capacity in FY25

Dalmia Bharat Limited (DBL), the fourth-largest cement producer in the country, has achieved a production capacity target of 49.5 million metric tons annually for the financial year 2024-25.

In a statement on Monday, the company said that DBL, which is promoted by the Dalmia family, achieved this target after starting commercial production of an additional 500,000 tons at its Rohtas Cement Works (RCW) plant in Bihar. DBL has a strong presence in the eastern region of India, with manufacturing units located in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Odisha. The company aims to increase its capacity to 110 to 130 million tons annually by 2031.

With this expansion, we are enhancing our capability to support major infrastructure projects and contribute to economic progress in the region. Notably, according to data from the Cement Manufacturers’ Association, India’s total installed cement production capacity stands at 690 million tons annually.
