G-20 ambassadors perform yoga in Andaman and Nicobar Islands

Port Blair: The Head of Mission and representatives of international organizations performed yoga at the Kala Patthar beach at Swaraj Island in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. During this, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi and India’s G-20 chairmanship chief coordinator Harsh Vardhan Shringla were also present.

Harsh Vardhan Shringla, the Chief Coordinator of the G-20 Presidency, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emphasized adopting a natural lifestyle for environmental balance. To make this concept a reality, he did yoga on the Kala Patthar beach at sunrise. All the G-20 ambassadors who arrived from Delhi participated in it. After that, we all cleaned the beach.

Argentine ambassador Hugo Javier Gobbi, who performed yoga at Kala Patthar beach, said it was a truly spiritual and refreshing experience. It is really inspiring to be here in such a beautiful environment. On India’s G-20 chairmanship, he said the agenda is very rich and good for the development of relations and cooperation in the world.

It is noteworthy that Kala Patthar beach on Havelock Island is one of the smallest beaches in the country. It is famous for its aqua-green water view. Kala Patthar Beach is in the village of Kala Pathar. The natural scenery here fascinates the people.
