Huzurabad By-Polls : Cong leader Feroz Khan Slams KCR’s Telangana Dalitha Bandhu Scheme

Following the resignation of TRS Huzurabad MLA Eatala Rajender, all eyes are now on the Huzurabad by-elections, which will feature a triangular contest between TRS chairman K Chandrashekar Rao, BJP state president Bandi Sanjay, and newly elected TPCC chief Revanth Reddy.

MRPS held a hunger strike at the MRO office in Nampally, demanding that the Chief Minister distribute Dalith Bandu to all Dalits.
Congress Leader Mohammed Feroz Khan took part in a hunger strike and was asking that the Chief Minister distribute Dalith Bandu to all Dalits, as he does solely in the Huzarabad Constituency.
Telangana Chief Minister KCR has proposed a ‘Telangana Dalitha Bandhu’ scheme for Dalit empowerment ahead of the Huzurabad by-polls, which will be executed as a trial project in the Huzurabad assembly constituency.
The Dalita Bandhu Scheme, which will cost Rs 1200 crore, will be implemented across the state, according to the CM. However, the CM of the Huzurabad Constituency, which was chosen to implement the pilot project, claimed an additional Rs 1500 to 2000 crore would be invested in the constituency to extend Rs 10 lakh cash to 20,929 beneficiaries under the Telangana Dalita Scheme.
