The journalist fraternity is shocked by this brutal murder of Journalist Manish Kumar Singh:Ras Bihari,President-NUJ(I)

 
The National Union of Journalists (India) expressed deep anguish over the brutal murder of journalist Manish Kumar Singh .
Condemning this heart-wrenching incident in strong words, Mr.Ras Bihari,President of the National Union of Journalists (India) ,demanded that the Bihar Governments to provide insurance and appropriate Compensation with Financial assistant to Journalist Manish Kumar Singh’s Family.
According to sources, Manish went home on August 8 to attend a function in Math Lahoria Village, which is part of the Harsidhhi Police Station jurisdiction. Following that, he vanished and his phone was turned off. His bike was later found in the Harsiddhi village. Manish was receiving death threats on a regular basis, and there was a land dispute going on. Sanjay filed a complaint with the local police station about the dispute on July 25.
Following Manish’s abduction, his father filed a complaint with the Harsiddhi Police Station, naming 12 people, including two journalists, Mohammad Arsad Alam and Amarendra Singh.
During their investigation, the police received word that residents had discovered an unidentified body. When police arrived on the scene, they summoned Sanjay Singh to identify the deceased. Singh was able to identify Manish by his shoes, which were bloated and mutilated. Manish’s eyeballs were gouged out, and his face was injured, according to reports.
NUJ(I) National President,Mr. Ras Bihari said that the journalist society is shocked by this brutal murder of Journalist Manish Kumar Singh and demands financial Support from the Bihar government as compensation, strict punishment to the guilty, protection of their families and Justice under Speedy Trial.
