Hyderabad police arrest KCR’s party leader for molesting a 10-year-old girl

Hyderabad: One person, who also happens to be a local BRS leader under K Chandrashekar Rao, was detained on Monday for allegedly acting inappropriately with a young girl in Hyderabad. Aqeel Ahmad, the accused leader, allegedly misbehaved with a 10-year-old girl at a store in the Begum Bazar area, according to the police.

According to the police, a case has been filed under the POCSO Act.

“The incident took place on Sunday, and we have sent the accused to remand today,” Begum Bazar inspector Namindla Shankar.

“Aqeel Ahmed mistreated a 10-year-old girl there when she went to the medical store. When she returned home, she told her parents, who then reported the incident to the police “said he.
