India Post GDS Recruitment 2026: 23,757 Vacancies, Registration Opens

New Delhi: The young aspirants who dream to get a job in the government have a reason to cheer up after India Post announced opening of registration process for 23,757 Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) posts all over the postal circles across the country. The one-time registration started on Monday, August 31. The application submission process will start on September 2.

So all those who are preparing for the application are expected to complete the registration process and have the necessary document handy.

This will cover jobs like Branch Postmaster, Assistant Branch Postmaster and Dak Sevak and there are vacancies in all postal circles. The Indian GDS recruitment is considered the best by a lot of Indian youth who wish to get a government job just after finishing school as there is difference in theeligibilitycriteria when it is compared with the other gradate level government examinations. So, the aspirant must do the check up before, do notwait tillthelast day of applicationand you must have proper information about thequalification,eligibility criterion of age, knowledgeof thelocal languageandthe documentsrequired for thepostalcircleinwhichyouareapplying. The recruitment announcement come at a time when government jobs attract a lot of young Indians especially those residing in semi urban and rural areas.
