Inner Being Wellness bags Poshak Anaaj Awards 2021 in Nutri-Cereal Multi Stakeholders Mega Convention by Agri Minister

Hyderabad Startup, “Innerbeing Wellness and Fountain Head Foods” has bagged the ‘Poshak Anaj Awards,’ which are sponsored by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), the Indian Institute of Millets Research (IIMR), and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

At a National Convention in Hyderabad on Friday, the Hon’ble Minister Mr. Narendra Singh Tomar presented the Poshak Anaaj Awards 2021 to Best Startups – Innerbeing Wellness and Fountain Head Foods,the Best Performer State – Odisha, Best Emerging FPO – Halchalit Mahila Kissan Women Producer Company Ltd.

Inaugurating the two-day “Nutri-Cereal Multi-Stakeholders’ Mega Convention 3.0” in Hyderabad, Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Mr. Narendra Singh Tomar explained that the Central Government has announced various packages under the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund worth Rs.1.5 lakh crore to fill the gaps in the agriculture sector.

The Union Minister advised the current generation to realise the value of healthy food grains like millets and make them a part of their daily diet, recalling that millets have been utilised in abundance in our nation from ancient times.


Mr Narendra Singh Tomar and other dignitaries had earlier paid a visit to the millets food kiosks set up by several start-ups and millet processing companies at the venue. The Minister distributed a number of papers produced by the ICAR-IIMR.
Among others, Shri Sanjay Agarwal, Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation & Farmers’ Welfare, Dr. Sekhar C. Mande, Secretary, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra, Secretary, Department of Agriculture Research and Education & Director General, ICAR, Dr. T. R. Sharma, DDG, ICAR, & DG, CSIR were present.
The ICAR-Indian Institute of Millets Research (IIMR), Hyderabad, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and the Union Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India are hosting the two-day convention. The goal of this event is to create a blueprint for a series of events to commemorate the United Nations’ declaration of 2023 as the “International Year of Millets.” The event was attended by delegates from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.
