Doda: A massive search operation has been launched from Wednesday morning to kill terrorists hiding in Patnitop area of ​​Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir. There was a brief encounter between security forces and hiding terrorists late on Tuesday night. There is no information about anyone being killed or injured in this encounter. This was the fourth encounter in the last four days.

A Jammu-based spokesperson of the Army’s White Knight Corps said that the terrorists have been traced. The operation is on to neutralize them. The spokesperson said that based on specific intelligence, the Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police had launched a joint operation in Akar forest near Patnitop. This anti-terrorism operation has been named Operation Assar. This is the fourth such operation against hiding terrorists since Saturday. Security forces have surrounded three groups of militants in Anantnag, Kishtwar and Udhampur districts since Saturday. An army spokesperson said the officers stressed the importance of army operations to ensure peace and stability while working in close coordination and synergy with other security agencies in the region.
