Nari Shakti Awards 2026 Today in Hyderabad; Dr. Mohammad Nizamuddin’s Vision for Women’s Leadership Takes Centre Stage

 

Hyderabad, June 5: Women achievers from across diverse fields will be celebrated at the Nari Shakti Awards 2026, to be organised this evening by GOADH Foundation and Bharat Ke Anmol at Hotel Marigold, Begumpet, Hyderabad.

The event, founded on the vision of social reformer and Bharat Ke Anmol founder Dr. Mohammad Nizamuddin, aims to recognise women whose contributions have created meaningful impact in society while inspiring future generations through leadership, resilience and service.

A significant highlight of the evening will be the launch of the Nari Shakthi Forum, a new initiative envisioned to promote mentorship, leadership development, networking and greater participation of women in social, professional and public life.

The Nari Shakti Awards 2026, supported through a partnership aligned with UN Women Empowerment Principles, will honour achievers from sectors including journalism and media, education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, arts and culture, social service, public life, beauty and wellness, and community leadership.

The programme will feature a special audio-visual presentation on the journey and vision of Bharat Ke Anmol, followed by an address by Dr. Mohammad Nizamuddin outlining the organisation’s future roadmap for women’s empowerment and inclusive development.

Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Speaker of the Telangana Legislative Assembly, will attend as Chief Guest, while Seetakka, Minister for Panchayati Raj & Rural Development, Rural Water Supply, Women & Child Welfare, Government of Telangana, will be the Guest of Honour.

Special Guests include Mahesh Kumar Goud, President, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) and MLC; Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, senior BJP leader and former MLC; and K. Kavitha, President, Telangana Jagruthi and former MLC.

Distinguished guests expected to attend include Amita Desai, Honorary Consul of Germany in Hyderabad; Shabana Sultana, Honorary Consul of Tunisia; Dr. Rohit Gupta, Chairman of Eurasia Afro Chamber of Commerce; and Dr. Gita Singh.

Organisers said the awards seek to celebrate women who break barriers, inspire change and contribute significantly to nation-building, while reinforcing the message that women’s empowerment remains central to social progress and inclusive growth.
