Police arrest CPI (M) leaders for supporting the UoH campus students protest

Hyderabad: Police arrested CPI (M) leaders who called for dharna at UoH campus here on Tuesday.

The CPI (M) leaders demanded the Congress government to withdrawal of land auction in Kanche Gachibowli and release of all detained university students.

The party claimed that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy imposed an undeclared emergency in the State in the name of ‘Indrammam Rajyam’, cracking down any protest against the government.

The party criticized police department stating that, police were brutal on the protesters and lathi-charged them for protesting at the University of Hyderabad (UoH) main gate on their demands.
