Hyderabad: Coinciding with Engineer’s Day on September 15, Telangana Higher Institutions (FATHI) declared an indefinite closure of private colleges across the State.
The federation also announced that the day would be observed as a Black Day. The committee stated that despite repeated representations and submission of viable proposals to ease the financial burden on the government, there has been no response from the authorities.
The committee demanded to release Rs 1,200 crore pending dues for tokens already approved under the fee reimbursement scheme.
