New Delhi : As part of the government’s ‘Rozgar Mela’ (employment fair), Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute and address approximately 71,000 appointment letters to new recruits via video conferencing today, according to his office.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the drive is a step toward fulfilling his commitment to giving the highest priority to job creation, and it is expected to be a catalyst in directly creating more jobs and providing meaningful opportunities to the youth for empowerment and participation in national development.
75,000 people received appointment letters earlier in October.Except in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, where the Model Code of Conduct is in effect, physical copies of appointment letters will be distributed at 45 locations across the country.
In addition to the positions previously filled, he said that teachers, lecturers, nurses, nursing officers, doctors, pharmacists, radiographers, and other technical and paramedical positions are being filled. The Ministry of Home Affairs is filling a large number of positions in various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).
According to the office, Modi will also launch the Karmayogi Prarambh module.The module is an online orientation course for all new government appointees in various departments.
It will include a code of conduct for government employees, workplace ethics and integrity, human resource policies, and other benefits and allowances to help them adjust to the policies and transition smoothly into their new roles, according to the statement.
