As the Winter Session of the Parliament is set to convene on Monday, the focus will be on the introduction and passing of various Bills.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will move several Bills, including The Banking Laws (Amendment) Bill which aims to amend the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, and the Banking Regulation Act.
In addition, the Finance Minister will also move bills to amend the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act of 1970 and 1980 for consideration.
Meanwhile, Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will introduce the Railways (Amendment) Bill to amend the Railway Act, 1989. Additionally, Minister of State in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) Jayant Chaudhary will make a statement on the implementation of Skill Acquisition and Knowledge Awareness for Livelihood Promotion (SANKALP) Project.
The association of one member from Rajya Sabha with committees on welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes will also be discussed by BJP MPs Rodmal Nagar and Ganesh Singh. This session promises to be a crucial one for the government as they work towards passing important legislation for the betterment of the country.
