Hyderabad: A young woman from Hyderabad died in a road accident in Chicago in the United States.
According to reports, Srija Varma (23), daughter of Srinu Rao from Balaji Nagar in Gandi Maisamma area in Dundigal had moved to the US for higher studies.
Srija was allegedly hit from behind by a speeding truck on Monday night while walking on the road. Srija suffered multiple grievous injuries and died on the spot.
Srija’s relatives have sought the assistance of Telugu associations in the US to bring her mortal remains back to India at the earliest.
