Grid failure in Pakistan, power failure across the country including capital Islamabad

Islamabad : Pakistan’s troubles are not taking the name of abatement. In Pakistan, which is facing inflation and economic crisis, a sudden grid failure on Monday morning caused a power crisis. There was a power failure across the country including the capital Islamabad.

Large parts of the country including Pakistan’s capital Islamabad, major cities Lahore and Karachi are without electricity. Pakistan’s Ministry of Energy has informed that the frequency of Pakistan’s National Grid has failed.

The National Grid controls the electricity supply of the entire country. Due to grid failure at 7:34 in the morning, the power system across the country was affected and suddenly all the major cities lost power. The officials are trying to rectify the situation. It was told that 22 crore people of Pakistan are forced to face power crisis. The authorities are first trying to restore power supply to major parts of Islamabad, but they are not getting success.

According to Pakistan’s Ministry of Energy, a sudden major fault in the high tension line between Quetta and Guddu has led to the grid failure. The ministry has assured to restore power supply in the next 12 hours. Public anger is increasing due to this. People are creating ruckus by reaching the electricity offices. All 22 districts of Balochistan are in the grip of severe power crisis.
