Hyderabad: In view of weather change, viral fevers cases rises in Hyderabad. For the past ten days, the outpatient wings of Gandhi Hospital, Osmania General Hospital and Fever Hospital have reported a steady increase in viral fever cases.
Patients with high-grade fever, cough and body pains, all symptoms of upper respiratory tract infections, are seeking treatment at these government health care facilities.
“The cases rises in Gandhi Hospital are the outpatient department (OP) is now between 1,800 and 1,900 a day” senior officials said.
