Earth trembled in many places in the country due to earthquake

New Delhi/Kathmandu : In addition to the national capital Delhi-NCR, North India, in addition to the neighboring country Nepal, the earth shook after the strong tremors of the earthquake after midnight on Tuesday. People trembled with unintentional fear. The magnitude of the earthquake has been recorded at 6.3 on the Richter scale in Delhi-NCR. The sleep of the people of the capital Delhi was suddenly broken at 1:58 pm due to the rapid shaking of the bed. People could not understand anything and came out of their homes out of fear. The tremors of the earthquake were felt in Noida, Ghaziabad and nearby cities as well.

According to Nepal’s National Seismological Centre, the far-west region of the country was hit three times in the last 24 hours. The death toll in a house collapsed after the earthquake in Doti district has risen to six. Nepal Police said that a woman and two children were also among the dead. But no one has been identified yet. Five people have been injured. In Doti district, dozens of houses have been damaged due to landslides during this period.

Pithoragarh: According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of 4.3 magnitude has occurred in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand at around 6:27 am today. The depth of the earthquake was 5 km below the ground.

Manipur: According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of 6.3 magnitude struck Nepal and Manipur at around 1:57 pm. The depth of the earthquake was 10 km below the ground.

Lucknow: According to the National Center for Seismology, earthquake tremors were felt in many districts of the state including Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow at 8.52 pm on Tuesday night. The magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 4.9 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake is being told 10 km below the ground in Dharchula area on the Indo-Nepal border.

Doti: Strong tremors of earthquake were felt in Doti in far west Nepal adjoining Uttarakhand at 9:07 pm on Tuesday night. According to the National Earthquake Measurement Center of Nepal, it had a magnitude of 5.7 on the Richter scale. The impact of the earthquake was maximum in Karnali and Lumbini districts of Nepal.
