Hyderabad: Student groups staged a protest in Bachupally and Ghatkesar on the death of two intermediate students who died by suicide allegedly due to pressure from the college staff.
A second year intermediate student Pragya Reddy, who committed suicide in the college hostel at Nizampet, protestors gathered in large numbers on the college premises demanding action against the college management.
They criticised the government’s inaction even as several students were ending their lives due harassment from colleges. They demanded that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy respond to these deaths.
