Hyderabad: On the occasion of Bakrid festival, special prayers were held in the morning at various Eidgahs and mosques in the city.
Over one lakh people attended the Eid ul Adha prayers at the Mir Alam Eidgah. The Khateeb and Imam of Mecca Masjid Maulana Hafiz Rizwan Qureshi, led the prayers.
Huge gatherings were witnessed at Eidgah Qutb Shahi Tombs, Eidgah Bilali Masab Tank, Eidgah Balapur, Eidgah Pahadishareef, Eidgah Balamrai, and important mosques such as Mecca Masjid, Shahi Masjid Bagh e Aam etc.
After the Eid prayers the pious headed home and made arrangements for animal sacrifice.
