Rahul Gandhi Slams Modi’s NEET-UG Mess: 24 Lakh Students Suffer Before New Term Begins!

Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has criticized Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi over the alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG medical entrance exam. He stated that the issues in the examination have affected more than 24 lakh students even before Modi takes oath for his new term in office.

Gandhi assured the students that he will be their voice in Parliament and will strongly raise the issues related to their future. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has formed a four-member panel to review the grace marks given to over 1,500 candidates, amidst allegations of inflation of marks. In a post on social media, Gandhi accused Modi of not taking necessary action to address the irregularities in the exam and stated that the Congress had a plan to deal with the “paper leak industry” and ensure transparency in exams.

He also mentioned the party’s promise to make a law to prevent paper leaks in their manifesto. The NTA has denied any wrongdoing and cited changes in NCERT textbooks and grace marks for lost time at exam centers as reasons for higher marks. However, opposition parties have raised concerns about the authenticity of the exam. Gandhi expressed confidence in the youth’s faith in the INDIA bloc, which will not let their voices be suppressed. This issue highlights the importance of ensuring fair and transparent processes in competitive exams to provide equal opportunities for all students.
