Robert Vadra summoned by ED in Shikohpur Land case deal

On Tuesday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) interrogated Robert Vadra concerning a money laundering case tied to a land deal in Gurugram, Haryana. Vadra, husband of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, labeled the ED’s summons as politically motivated revenge. Official sources indicate that he was summoned due to his company’s land purchase in Shikohpur village.

After receiving the summons, Vadra walked two kilometers to the ED office. Speaking to the media, he claimed the agency’s actions were driven by his political commentary and aspirations, stating, “If I speak on national issues… old files are pulled out to stop me.” He emphasized that he would not be intimidated, asserting public support.

Previously, Vadra had not attended an ED summons issued on April 8 regarding the same investigation. The ED is delving into alleged financial irregularities linked to his company Skylight Hospitality pvt ltd, having previously questioned him in other money laundering cases.
