SIA raids in three districts to track down threats to J-K Journos

Srinagar: The J-K State Investigation Agency (SIA) is conducting raids in Srinagar, Budgam, and Pulwama districts in connection with online threats to journalists.

According to a Srinagar Police spokesperson, raids are taking place at various locations in the Srinagar, Budgam, and Pulwama districts in connection with ‘online journalist threats.’

TRF, a terrorist organization, threatened a few Kashmir Valley journalists online. Following the threats, many Kashmiri journalists resigned from various local publications. More than a dozen suspects were apprehended and interrogated by police. The raids are being carried out based on the information provided by these suspects.
