US Vice President JD Vance scheduled to visit India next week

The White House has announced that American Vice President J.D. Vance will embark on an official visit to Italy and India from April 18 to 24 with his family. The trip aims to discuss economic cooperation and geopolitical priorities with leaders in both nations.

Vice President Vance will begin in Rome, meeting Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State of the Vatican, focusing on regional and global issues. Following Italy, he will travel to India, visiting New Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra, with a scheduled meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to strengthen bilateral relations through trade, investment, strategic partnerships, and cultural cooperation.

Vance’s visit underscores the U.S. commitment to enhancing ties with both countries while promoting cultural understanding.
