ACB registers 23 cases in September month

Hyderabad: In a September month 2025, The Telangana Anti- Corruption Bureau ( ACB) registered 23 cases and enquiries. This included 11 trap cases, 2 disproportionate assets cases, 2 criminal misconduct cases, 6 regular enquiries, and 2 surprise checks.

A total of 22 public servants were arrested and remanded in judicial custody. Cash amounting to Rs 8.91 lakh was seized in trap cases.

The ACB teams also secured a conviction this month, with a Nalgonda district Tahsildar sentenced to one year of rigorous imprisonment and fined Rs 25,000 in a 2018 trap case.
