8,441 unrecognized madrassas comes to light in the survey

Lucknow : Cabinet Minister for Minority Welfare, Muslim Waqf and Haj Department of Uttar Pradesh, Dharampal Singh held a review meeting regarding the survey work of madrassas in his office room at Vidhan Bhawan on Wednesday. In the meeting, he directed the departmental officers that the list of unrecognized madrassas should be uploaded on the departmental portal and fair app. So that the parents can get information about the correct status of the madrasas.
Minority Welfare Minister Dharampal Singh said that now the children of the madrassa should not fall prey to any kind of confusion or disorientation and their future should not be affected. The minister said that 8,441 unrecognized madrassas have been found in the survey. About seven lakh 64 thousand 164 boys and girls are studying in these. These children are the future of the country and in order to integrate them into the mainstream of the society, it is essential that they be connected with modern education. To secure the future of the children.
Dharampal Singh said that the details of financial sources of unrecognized madrassas have also been received. In this, the medium of most of the sources have been reported as donation and zakat. Dharampal Singh told the officials that according to the rules made for education, work should be done to provide education to the children of the minority welfare class. He said that legal action will be taken in respect of unrecognized madrassas. He asked the departmental officers to prepare a presentation regarding the overall condition of unrecognized madrassas. So that it can be presented before the Chief Minister. In the meeting, Director of Minority Welfare Department J. Ribha and Registrar Jagmohan Singh were present.
